We are looking for an Estimator with at least one year of experience in doors, frames, and hardware to analyze project specifications, prepare cost estimates, and collaborate with vendors for competitive pricing. We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with at least one year of experience in the doors, frames, and hardware industry. The ideal candidate will analyze project specifications, prepare accurate cost estimates, and collaborate with vendors and clients to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
Description
- Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates
- Determine material costs, labor, and project timelines
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability
- Work closely with project managers and sales teams to develop competitive bids
- Ensure estimates align with company standards and client expectations
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies
Profile
- 1+ year of experience in estimating, preferably in doors, frames, and hardware
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail, math skills, and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
