Quality Engineer - Manufacturing - Attleboro, MA
Client Details

- Generate and manage First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), PPAPs, and detailed inspection documentation
- Develop and maintain inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Program and operate vision and automated inspection systems to ensure precise measurement and quality validation
- Lead QA/QC lab workflows, setting priorities and ensuring inspections meet production and shipping timelines
- Train inspectors and develop clear work instructions and visual aids
- Partner with suppliers and procurement to resolve vendor quality issues and drive corrective actions
- Support customers through quality meetings, RMAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead MRB activities, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, 5-Why)
- Apply statistical tools to analyze quality data and support informed decision-making
- Collaborate with engineering and NPD teams to develop inspection methods for new products and processes
- Participate in internal, external, and third-party audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of quality tools, root cause analysis, and inspection methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to clearly present technical data
