Financial Regulatory Reporting AVP

The AVP of Financial Regulatory Reporting will support the timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial regulatory reports to local regulatory authorities. The role requires strong knowledge of banking products, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting systems. This individual will also contribute to the enhancement of regulatory reporting processes and internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.

Description

  • Prepare and review key regulatory reports such as FFIEC 031/041, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Call Reports, Basel-related filings, and other jurisdiction-specific reports.

  • Analyze and interpret new regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the bank's financial reporting obligations.

  • Work closely with various teams including Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Compliance to gather and validate data for reporting.

  • Assist in regulatory exams and internal/external audits, providing documentation and responding to inquiries as needed.

  • Participate in system and process enhancements, including automation and data quality initiatives.

  • Support the implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Prepare management and regulatory disclosures and analytics to support strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely compliance.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.

  • 5-8 years of experience in financial services, preferably in regulatory reporting or financial control.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. or regional regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FRB, OCC, MAS, HKMA, etc.).

  • Familiarity with banking products (loans, derivatives, deposits, etc.) and financial instruments.
