Chief Financial Officer - North America. Advertising.
As CFO you will be responsible for all financial management of the North American operations. You will design and execute the financial strategy in conjunction with the groups overall goals and partner with local management and the European HQ on all major financial decisions.

Our client is a multinational advertising corporation headquartered in Europe, with a global footprint in over 80 countries. Founded over four decades ago, our client is at the cutting edge of digital advertising, employing over 10,000 staff with revenues in excess of $2bn annually.
This is an exciting and pivotal time in their evolution and they are seeking an innovation and collaborative CFO who will establish themselves to be an integral part of the North American senior leadership team.
Description
- Financial Reporting. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Budgeting and Forecasting. Direct the preparation or annual budgets and oversee regular financial forecasts, reporting to the European HQ.
- Treasury and financing. Ensure the compliance of the corporate rules in the US and provide advise to the HQ on optimizing US financial structuring.
- Tax. Responsible for all local tax issues and the annual tax charges included in the North America financial reporting packages.
- Compliance and Risk Management. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations(GAAP/IFRS)
- Budget development.
- Corporate finance communication. Consult and co-build the US financial strategy with HQ.
Profile
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years progressive financial and accounting experience gained within the advertising, marketing or consumer products sectors. You will be CPA and have a proven track record of working in large holding companies, preferable with a European headquarters.
This is a player-coach role and thus team play and an ability to collaborate locally and Internationally will be essential to success.
Job Offer
Base salary from $275,000 and above. An industry leading bonus opportunity and benefits program.
This position does require you to work from the office as part of the leadership team 3-4 days weekly.
