Environmental and Industrial Services Sales Rep. - Houston
The Environmental and Industrial Services Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth and expanding market share in the environmental and industrial services sector within the Houston area. This individual will focus on promoting the company's suite of services, including waste management, hazardous material handling, environmental consulting, and industrial cleaning services to new and existing clients in the healthcare space.

The client is a leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services. The company focuses on managing hazardous waste, environmental remediation, and emergency response services. In 2024, the company surpassed $6B in global revenue and are still growing. The company is specifically looking for a Sales Representative to call on the healthcare vertical.
Description
- Identify and target new business opportunities in the Houston area through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads by researching potential clients and reaching out to key decision-makers.
- Qualify leads and assess the client's needs to determine the most appropriate services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, service issues, and contract negotiations.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and meetings to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Present and promote the company's services to potential clients, ensuring that offerings align with the client's needs and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals, including pricing, service packages, and environmental compliance solutions.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with clients to close deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights that shape sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, tracking progress toward sales goals.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in environmental services, industrial services, or related fields (such as waste management, hazardous materials, environmental consulting).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business.
- Experience in handling negotiations and complex contracts in a service-oriented industry.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, safety standards, and industrial operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Houston metropolitan area.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
