Real Estate Paralegal
Assist attorneys throughout all stages of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.

Description
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence by ordering and reviewing entity, lien, and UCC searches; organize supporting documentation and draft diligence summaries
- Review and analyze title reports, commitments, and surveys; coordinate resolution of title and survey issues with relevant parties
- Research zoning regulations, entitlement status, easements, and development-related documentation; analyze public real property records
- Support closing processes by preparing detailed checklists, closing statements, and post-closing binders and documentation
- Prepare client intake materials, including engagement letters, and ensure timely receipt and processing of retainer payments
- Maintain internal transaction tracking systems to provide accurate and timely updates on key deal milestones
Profile
- Paralegal certificate strongly preferred
- At least 3 years of experience handling commercial and residential real estate transactions, including title/survey review and closings
- Extensive knowledge of real estate documentation, title insurance, due diligence, and closing procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ACRIS, and legal research tools such as Westlaw and NYSCEF
