Description

• Assist the Project Manager in completing projects on time and under budget.
• Participate in interviews and RFP processes for new work.
• Support estimating and bidding for future projects.
• Develop a thorough understanding of project details.
• Contact subcontractors to gauge interest in projects.
• Review final plans and estimates with the Project Manager and Estimator before submission.
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of monthly project review reports.
• Help create, review, and negotiate change orders, meeting minutes, and RFIs with the project team.
• Perform project closeout with the Owner and Architect, ensuring punch list completion
• Conduct 6-month and 11-month follow-ups with the Owner for any issues.
• Maintain open communication with clients, updating them on project progress and budgets.

Profile

• 3+ years of experience with a general contractor, municipal experience is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
• Team player with a positive and driven attitude
• Has interest to estimate change orders, pay apps, etc. but does not need to be able to bid projects from scratch.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
• Desire to further career as a Project Manager
• OSHA certified

Job Offer

• Base salary of $85,000-$100,000 depending on the level of experience
