Process Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Attleboro, MA
As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This includes troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a production environment.

Description
The Process Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production challenges.
- Develop and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Monitor and evaluate process performance, utilizing data-driven analysis and KPIs.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve quality or efficiency issues.
- Lead trials and validations for new materials, equipment, or processes.
- Support maintenance and engineering teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or related industries.
- Strong understanding of extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding, or related processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
