Description

Responsibilities:

• Bridge Communication: Act as the liaison between hourly workers and management to ensure clear communication and address any operational issues promptly.
• Optimize Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce downtime across all foundry operations.
• Monitor Performance: Oversee production metrics and performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure Quality: Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure all products meet or exceed specifications and customer requirements.
• Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage Maintenance: Oversee maintenance schedules and repairs to ensure all equipment is operating optimally and minimize production disruptions.
• Develop Training Programs: Design and implement training programs to bridge skills gaps, improve worker proficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead and Motivate: Guide and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives productivity and aligns with company goals.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in foundry or manufacturing operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of foundry processes, metal casting techniques, and quality control standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and manage complex projects.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Proficient in data analysis, budgeting, and performance metrics.
