I'm partnered with a Fortune 200, global, multi-billion dollar manufacturing company. The corporate function is looking to identify a Financial Systems Analyst to join their growing team. As the Financial Systems Analyst, you will have ownership of the development of the financial consolidation system while acting as the liaison between the senior leaders cross-functionally to ensure data is accurate. In this role, you will gain a ton of visibility to progress up in your career!
Description
- Maintain and optimize application metadata, reports, and data interface mappings for efficient data loads and consolidations.
- Establish and uphold stringent application security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Provide ongoing support for a legacy application to submit financial data to corporate.
- Ensure data integrity by promptly identifying and resolving issues.
- Customize financial reports to meet evolving business needs and objectives.
- Engage with users to address training requirements and troubleshoot any user-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
- Develop and refine comprehensive processes and procedures for accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, as well as forecasting and financial planning cycles.
- Utilize expertise to identify opportunities for enhancing system application usage and processes to improve efficiency and quality assurance.
- Actively participate in SOX compliance audits.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- ERP system experience nice to have
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
