Quality Manager l Food Manufacturer

This is a leadership position within our clients quality department, where the ideal candidate with oversee a team of technicians and help lead inspections, process control and more.

Out client, founded in the 1960s, started as a small family owned bakery and has since expanded several times into an industry leading producer of snack foods and other backed goods. With over 5 state of the art facilities in the area, our client has the capability to support high profile customer request with the utmost respect to product quality.

Description

• Manage a team of quality technicians towards operational goals and supporting customers
• Manage and lead audits for certs such as HACCP, PCQI and SQF
• Utilize SPC and statistical quality controls to improve various processes
• Lead and work cross functionally on various CI activity
• Handle and oversee all in process and final product inspections
• Participate in manufacturing leadership meetings to align with site leadership

Profile

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of technicians, inspectors, or other quality personnel
• Knowledge of SPC and statistical quality controls
• Exposure to TQP and customer centric, continuous improvement
• HAACP, PCQI, and Food defense experience, certifications a huge plus
• Understanding of GMPs, Lot Code Tracking, Product Quality Monitoring, Audit Records
• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from $78,000 to $95,000
