Estimator
This is an opportunity for a skilled estimator to lead pricing efforts on high-end commercial interior projects across New York City. You'll play a critical role in preconstruction, providing detailed cost analysis, coordinating with subcontractors, and working closely with clients, project managers, and leadership to secure and shape new work.

Description
Prepare full-scope estimates for commercial interiors ranging from $500K to $30M
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software
Solicit, review, and level subcontractor bids across all trades
Assist in value engineering and cost analysis to meet client budgets
Attend pre-bid meetings, walk-throughs, and client presentations
Collaborate with project managers and executives on pricing strategy
Track bid outcomes and maintain subcontractor relationships
Assist in the transition from preconstruction to project startup
Profile
3-7 years of estimating experience in NYC commercial interiors, ideally with a GC
Deep understanding of local trade pricing and commercial fit-out logistics
Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and estimating platforms like Procore or Sage
Sharp eye for detail with the ability to review architectural drawings, specs, and addenda with precision
Strong communicator who can represent the company professionally in client-facing scenarios
Able to work independently on bids as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Comfortable managing multiple bids simultaneously and delivering under tight deadlines
Eager to grow into a Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager role within a high-performance team
