Description

The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Assist in managing and coordinating all on-site construction activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior superintendents to oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring that they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Conduct site inspections and report on progress, potential issues, and any changes that may arise.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, enforcing safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and meeting notes.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have 3+ years experience in the Assistant Superintendent role
• Strong background with Railroad entity (Metro North or Amtrak)
• Familiar with means and methods of railroad entities
• Be comfortable with scheduling, subs, safety, cleanliness of job site
• Weekly meetings virtual and in person if needed
• Experience with Procore, Compass, OSHA 30 or 40
• Be commutable to Providence, RI
