AR Specialist
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day AR operations, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections. This role is vital to ensuring timely cash flow and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Our client is a fast-growing CPG company based in Brooklyn, known for delivering high-quality, innovative products to national retailers and direct-to-consumer channels. With a collaborative culture and a strong focus on operational excellence, they are looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their Finance team.
Description
Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales and shipping data
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on past-due payments
Apply incoming payments to the correct customer accounts and invoices
Reconcile AR ledger and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
Communicate with customers and internal sales/logistics teams regarding billing inquiries
Assist with monthly AR reporting and aging analysis
Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Profile
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in the CPG or wholesale/retail space
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
