AR Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day AR operations, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections. This role is vital to ensuring timely cash flow and maintaining strong customer relationships.

With a collaborative culture and a strong focus on operational excellence, they are looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their Finance team.

Description

• Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales and shipping data

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on past-due payments

• Apply incoming payments to the correct customer accounts and invoices

• Reconcile AR ledger and resolve discrepancies or billing issues

• Communicate with customers and internal sales/logistics teams regarding billing inquiries

• Assist with monthly AR reporting and aging analysis

• Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Profile

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in the CPG or wholesale/retail space

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP)

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
