Seeking a talented Controller to lead our CPG company's Accounting and Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPG, with a focus on accounting. strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Description

• As the Controller you will lead the accounting department and overseeing all financial operations.
• Own the month end close including COGS and Inventory.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies in line with company goals.
• Preparing detailed budgets and financial forecasts.
• Performing in-depth financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations.
• Collaborating with ownership and management to set company-wide financial goals.
• Identifying and managing financial risks and opportunities.
• Overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting, both internal and external.

Profile

A successful Controller should have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of financial strategies and financial analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of COGS and Inventory.
• Proven experience in managing a finance department in the CPG/Manufacturing space.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent budgeting and financial forecasting abilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Excellent decision-making abilities and strategic thinking skills.
• This role is on site in Chatsworth, CA.
