Project Manager - Commercial Construction

A Knoxville‑based GC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee local commercial and ground‑up projects from kickoff through closeout. This position is ideal for a highly organized leader who excels in managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication - all while remaining fully local with no travel. You'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality projects across the greater Knoxville market.

Description

• Manage all phases of local commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, buyout, and subcontractor coordination
• Partner closely with field teams to ensure quality, safety, and on‑time delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers
• Lead project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation
• Ensure projects meet company standards for schedule, budget, and quality

Profile

• 5+ years of Project Manager experience with a commercial GC
• Strong background in ground‑up or interior commercial construction
• Proven success with budget management, scheduling, and subcontractor oversight
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
• Experience with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects within the Knoxville market
