Client Details

The Vice President, Accounting is a key leadership position for an International Manufacturing/Consumer Goods business. The position reports directly to the CFO and is in charge of the Accounting Function. This is a key leadership role that partners closely with Heads of Department in Operations, Sales, Marketing, Technology and more. Description

• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance in accordance with US GAAP standards
• Provide comprehensive financial updates to Executive Leadership by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
• Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape.
• Oversee AP & AR to ensure proper controls are in place and teams continue to process improve the workflows.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• M&A activity along with accounting integration plans.
• Manage internal controls safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs
• Uphold federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
• Board presentation development along with general Accounting projects.
• Oversee and support accounting team (both Domestic and International)
• Hire, train and develop accounting staff

Profile

• CPA and/or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Field (Preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Field
• 10 - 15+ years of Accounting tenure - preferably within the Manufacturing or Consumer Goods Sector
• Prior Accounting Team Leadership Tenure Essential
• Systems: Advanced Excel, Netsuite or similar
• Strong understanding of US GAAP

Job Offer

The Vice President, Accounting will receive the following:

• Base Salary Range: $170,000 - $210,000
