Operations Supervisor - Chemical Manufacturing - Braintree, MA
The Operations Supervisor will oversee safety, production planning, SAP data, and maintenance to ensure plant efficiency and reliability. They will manage resources, support career development, and ensure compliance with HACCP/SQF guidelines while meeting KPIs and preparing reports.

Description
The Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Enforce safety practices for employees and subcontractors.
- Update SAP data daily and oversee production planning (daily/weekly MRP).
- Troubleshoot system defects and manage maintenance jobs.
- Schedule resources for daily operations and ensure plant cleanliness.
- Manage team development, cross-training, and performance issues.
- Monitor and achieve KPIs, focusing on cost-effectiveness and safety.
- Ensure product quality, maximize yield, and optimize throughput.
- Foster a zero-defect culture and promote teamwork.
- Support change management, employee development, and performance issues.
- Assist with new product development and ensure adherence to operational guidelines and HACCP/SQF programs.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports.
Profile
The Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent technical experience.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- At least 4 years of progressive supervisory experience.
- Experience with SAP.
- Ability to read P&ID's and schematics.
- Capable of obtaining TWIC certification.
- Background in manufacturing plant or refinery operations.
