Supplier Quality Manager | Automotive | Niles, IL
The Supplier Quality Manager will manage supplier relationships and a team of 5 for our client serving the industrial and automotive industry. This individual should have a strong track record of developing suppliers, leading audits, and implementing KPI's to track performance.

Description
- Head the Quality department decisions for the selection, development, and approval of new suppliers.
- Conduct supplier visits and lead audits on-site at supplier
- Implement and expand the supplier rating process
- Work cross-funtionally with supply chain, production and engineering
- Supervise team of inspectors and purchasing personell
- Work in collaboration with other functional areas to support new design introduction or revisions into manufacturing.
- Lead / participate in internal quality and process audits; support external ISO, Customer & other audits as required.
Profile
- Degree in engineering or affiliated field
- 5+ years Supplier Quality Experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and audit process
- Experience with metal manufacturing and electronic components
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer
- Base Salary of $115,000+
- Quarterly bonus
