As a Quality Assurance Engineer you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence and dependability of our advanced products. Your responsibilities will encompass developing robust QA processes, analyzing product data, and implementing strategies to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Description
Customer Complaint Management: Process customer complaints and corrective action requests by verifying received products, issuing work orders for evaluation or repair, compiling failure evaluation details, updating databases, performing root cause analysis, and preparing failure reports.
Final Inspection: Conduct final inspections for OEM products and TMC first article prototype builds, preparing formal inspection reports.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Perform the Quality Assurance Engineer role for NPI activities, coordinating and conducting qualification activities on first article purchases (FAI).
Instrumented Testing: Perform instrumented testing on TMC products and maintain a measurements library.
Manufacturing Support: Assist in the preparation and revision of manufacturing work instructions and in validating and documenting internal nonconformities.
In-Process Inspection: Assist with in-process inspection in metal fabrication areas, such as machining centers, forming centers, and welding, as needed.
Quality Management System (QMS) Support: Support TMC's ISO 9001 QMS with a focus on building a continuous improvement environment across the business.
Auditing: Perform internal ISO 9001 audits and support external audits.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in ISO 90001 manufacturing environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Skilled in mechanical inspection, interpreting engineering drawings, and utilizing electronic test equipment.
Knowledge of electromechanical assembly, sheet metal design, and manufacturing practices (preferred).
Ability to present data clearly and professionally with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
