Project Manager - St. Louis - Local Commercial Construction

The Project Manager will lead and oversee construction projects within the property industry, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can handle multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Project Managers will be expected to be on site for the duration of each project.
  • Manage the full scope of work from start to close out.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and scopes, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, address risks, and implement solutions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards across all project phases.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to maintain project efficiency and quality.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within projects.

Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management methodologies.
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Would prefer a candidate with a construction related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality projects.
