Mechanical Engineer - Electronics - Lowell, MA

My client, local to Lowell, MA, is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their team. This person will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring engineers, as well as designing, developing and troubleshooting electrical equipment.

Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing and mentoring engineers
• Program and Project Management
• Designing, Developing and Troubleshooting electrical equipment
• Leading functional activities of the Mechanical Engineering Team
• Reviewing and Approving critical engineering drawings
• Participating in development of product requirements, specifications and schedules
• Evaluating and reccommending design changes and specifications
• Supporting and providing technical dlow downs for program requirements

Profile

The successful Mechanical Engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years of relevant work experience designing and developing mechanical / electrical equipment
• Experience with 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of metals, plating and mechanical testing processes
• 2-3 years of program leadership
• Experience with AS9100
• Documentation management skills
• Experience with RF Coaxial, Data and AC/DC Power Surge Protection Devices
