Description

• Lead and manage the full life cycle of hotel or luxury residential ground-up development projects.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align development goals with business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and permitting processes in New York.
• Evaluate and select contractors, vendors, and consultants for optimal project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address issues to ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare detailed project reports and present updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Senior Hotel Development Project Manager should have:

• Extensive experience in hotel or luxury residential ground-up project management.
• Background working for a real estate developer, with a focus on high-quality property developments.
• Strong knowledge of New York's zoning laws, permitting processes, and construction regulations.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders and contractors.
• Additional skills in underwriting and predevelopment would be ideal but not essential.
• Must have led projects of $100 million and up.
