Description
As Production Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, managing people, process, and performance in a constantly evolving shop environment.
You'll be responsible for driving lean practices, planning and scheduling, and improving department KPIs. The role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can align teams around quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee production planning, materials flow, and staff scheduling.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing tools (5S, visual management, TPM, etc.).
- Track and improve metrics related to production efficiency and team performance.
Profile
The ideal Production Manager has 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. They bring strong communication skills, an understanding of lean principles, and a demonstrated ability to lead change.
- Strong background in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and cross-functional communication skills.
- ERP proficiency and a track record of process improvements and team development.
