Superintendent - New Construction - Boxborough, MA
We are partnering with a well‑established, employee‑owned general contractor seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee on‑site operations for projects across the 495 corridor into Boston. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and wants long-term growth within a stable, high‑retention company.

Description
- Oversee daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring work progresses safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, maintaining smooth workflow sequencing.
- Lead on‑site crews, provide guidance, and ensure clear communication among internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct inspections, enforce quality control standards, and quickly address any construction issues.
- Maintain strict safety compliance, run regular safety meetings, and monitor for site hazards.
- Track project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to project managers and clients.
- Manage documentation including daily reports, logs, inspections, and compliance records.
- Support project closeout activities including punch lists, final inspections, and client turnover.
Profile
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent within commercial construction.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and complex site logistics.
- Expertise in safety management and quality control practices.
- Experience with scheduling, sequencing, and managing fast-paced construction environments.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and make sound decisions on site.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when dealing with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency with construction management software (experience with Procore preferred).
