Client Details
This client is a well-established construction firm based in St. Louis, MO, with 36 years of industry experience. They are a smaller to mid-sized company, fostering a close-knit, collaborative environment where team members can make a real impact. Specializing in design-build, the company's projects are primarily ground-up, with occasional renovations, and cover a balanced portfolio: 50% light industrial and 50% commercial sectors, including retail, office, and healthcare. Currently focusing on local projects, they occasionally serve out-of-town clients, primarily repeat customers. Looking toward the future, they plan to expand into the multifamily market by spring 2025, reflecting their commitment to growth and diversification.
Description
- Responsible for all project operations while working closely with owners and internal/external project teams
- Plans and coordinates project activities inline company polices and procedures
- Lead the ground-up construction projects
- Creates and reviews project schedules
- Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
- Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
- Establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
- Assist in hiring and mentoring new employees
- Travel a few days per month
Profile
- 5+ years construction experience
- industrial, tilt up experience is a big plus but not required
- $10M+ project experience
- Design/Build experience is a big plus
- Organized and communicative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
