Description
- Preparing cost estimates for construction projects or services
- Analyzing data and producing detailed reports
- Consulting with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments
- Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Acting as a financial advisor and monitoring project costs
- Identifying and managing potential risks
- Maintaining relationships with contractors and suppliers
- Ensuring all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and guidelines
Profile
The successful Estimator should have:
- A degree in a relevant field such as construction, civil engineering or architecture
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to be client facing
- A strong understanding of construction processes and methods
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $95,000
