The Superintendent role in Knoxville offers the opportunity to lead on‑site construction teams, ensuring light industrial projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Description

  • Oversee day‑to‑day field operations, directing site crews, subcontractors, and logistics to maintain efficient project progress.
  • Assist the Project Manager with overall project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and coordination among all trades.
  • Perform site inspections, uphold safety procedures, and verify adherence to contractual obligations and established quality standards.
  • Track project expenditures, review subcontractor invoicing, and keep thorough documentation through daily reports and coordination meetings.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients, design partners, and team members while providing leadership to field staff and supporting a safe, injury‑free jobsite.

Profile

  • Extensive understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and required quality expectations.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with a wide range of project partners.
  • Demonstrated success managing project budgets, timelines, and key milestones while upholding high performance standards.
  • Effective communicator capable of providing consistent updates and fostering collaboration throughout all stages of a project.
  • Approaches challenges with a proactive, solution‑focused mindset to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
  • Dedicated to delivering projects that align with regulatory guidelines, operational needs, and overall client objectives.
