Project Manager - Commercial Construction
The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This includes managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

A well-established and nationally recognized construction firm is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Oakbrook, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to lead impactful commercial and industrial projects and contribute to the continued success of a respected industry leader.
Description
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and field staff.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
