Description

In this role you will report directly into the VP of Operations and be responsible for:

• Managing daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards

• Supervising and supporting 20 shop floor staff and operators

• Ensuring compliance with clean room protocols and safety regulations

• Monitoring equipment performance and coordinating maintenance as needed

• Implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and product quality

• Overseeing inventory levels and materials handling

• Coordinating with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues

• Maintaining accurate production records and reports

• Training and developing production staff

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working directly with operators to identify and resolve production issues

• Strong knowledge of 5S principles and proven ability to implement Lean manufacturing practices

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Ability to maintain clean room standards and enforce safety protocols

• Solid understanding of machine shop operations and equipment

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience in maintaining production documentation and reporting

• Clean room experience a plus but not required
