Description
As a Project Estimator - Reconstruction and Restoration - Charleston, you'll play a key role in project delivery and team success by:
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare detailed estimates and internal tools for mitigation, remediation, and reconstruction scopes
Conduct site visits and field assessments to determine extent of damages
Work closely with adjusters, insurance carriers, project managers, and property owners
Analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
Collaborate with the operations team to hand off projects smoothly after estimate approval
Maintain strong documentation for scope changes, supplements, and approvals
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, code updates, and insurance best practices
Profile
The successful Project Estimator - Reconstruction and Restoration - Charleston should have the following qualifications:
3+ years of Estimating experience in the restoration or reconstruction industry (commercial or multifamily)
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Experience working with adjusters, TPA programs, or large loss projects is a plus
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD) or familiarity with mitigation scopes is preferred but not required
Job Offer
The Project Estimator - Reconstruction and Restoration - Charleston will receive:
Competitive base salary ($90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience)
Bonus potential based on performance and estimate approvals
