Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee the construction of large-scale ground-up public works projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing complex projects valued at $50M+, with expertise in education, civic, and municipal construction. This is a high-impact role that requires leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to excellence.

Our portfolio includes educational facilities, civic centers, libraries, and other large-scale public buildings exceeding $50M in value. We are known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

Description

• Lead On-Site Operations - Oversee all phases of construction from groundbreaking to project completion, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Team Leadership - Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and labor crews to drive productivity and safety.
• Scheduling & Budgeting - Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Quality Control - Implement and enforce quality control programs to guarantee compliance with contract documents and specifications.
• Safety Oversight - Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all job site activities comply with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination - Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
• Problem Solving - Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Reporting - Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders, documenting progress and any challenges.

Profile

✅ Minimum 8-12 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with a general contractor
✅ Experience managing ground-up public works projects valued at $50M+ (education, civic, libraries, etc.)
✅ Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✅ Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam)
✅ Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams under tight deadlines

Job Offer

💰 Construction Superintendent Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (DOE)
