Superintendent - Sitework/Utilities
As the Sitework/Utilities Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of sitework and utility construction on our projects. You'll be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in site development and utility infrastructure, a strong focus on safety, and excellent leadership skills.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Sitework/Utilities Superintendent to join their team and lead a dedicated crew in delivering exceptional work.
Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of sitework and utility projects, including earthwork, grading, underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage, etc.), and paving.
- Supervise and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review plans, resolve issues, and ensure the highest quality work.
- Monitor project progress, adjust schedules and resources as needed to keep the project on track.
- Ensure proper documentation of daily activities, including work logs, safety reports, and equipment usage.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that work meets project specifications and standards.
- Maintain a productive and positive work environment, fostering strong team relationships.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in sitework and utilities construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials related to site development and utility installation.
- Experience with reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and deadlines.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
