Medical Device -Firmware Engineer - Canton, MA
The Firmware Engineer 1 will focus on developing and maintaining C code in an embedded microcontroller setting. This role involves collaborating with project teams across various initiatives. Key responsibilities include writing and debugging code, participating in verification and validation processes, conducting code reviews, and managing firmware releases in the GIT repository.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain C language code
- Create efficient, maintainable, and testable code
- Document software features and ensure ongoing functionality
- Diagnose, debug, and improve existing code
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Exhibit strong communication skills for team and project coordination
- Utilize GIT for version control and managing code repositories
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Over 2 years of experience coding in C
- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Capable of documenting work and creating detailed test reports
- Experienced with firmware engineering tools such as compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, I2C, SPI, etc.
- Proficient in C# and C++ programming
- Familiarity with Microchip products is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to collaborate effectively with other departments
- Hands-on approach with a strong preference for teamwork
