Job Requirements of Commercial Construction Project Manager:
Manage all project documentation to ensure compliance, scheduling accuracy, and budget control while closely monitoring costsOversee the collection, assembly, and distribution of as‑built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases
Develop and maintain project schedules, breaking work into logical steps and allocating time to meet deadlines
Prepare and present detailed budget estimates, progress reports, and cost‑tracking updates to stakeholders
Build and sustain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and partners to drive project success
Lead project meetings to align teams, resolve challenges, and keep work progressing smoothly
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and quality control measures across all phases of construction
Provide value‑engineering ideas to optimize costs while maintaining design integrity and client satisfaction
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration
Represent the company with integrity, consistently exceeding client expectations and reinforcing its reputation as a trusted industry leader
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent professional experience
8+ years of proven success in construction, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Minimum of 3 years in a Project Manager role, demonstrating leadership and accountability
Strong working knowledge of skilled trades, including carpentry, masonry, concrete, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical systems
Solid understanding of commercial construction technology, methods, and details
Exceptional ability to review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and drawings with precision
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
