Traveling Superintendent
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our field operations team. This position requires travel across the Southeast and up to the DC Metro area. Candidates should be based in or near Miami, FL.

Our client is a nationally recognized General Contractor headquartered in Miami, FL, specializing in fast-paced commercial construction projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Their focus is on delivering high-quality builds for well-known clients in the QSR, retail, self-storage, grocery, and mission-critical sectors.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations on projects ranging from $1M-$30M.
Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
Enforce safety, quality control, and schedule adherence on all job sites.
Interpret construction documents and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes.
Conduct daily field reports, safety meetings, and project documentation.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, inspectors, and city officials.
Schedule and supervise all inspections and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Represent the company professionally and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
Profile
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor.

Strong experience in fast-track commercial projects such as:
Quick Service Restaurants (e.g., Raising Cane's, Chick-fil-A)
Self-storage facilities
Large grocery stores (e.g., Publix, Whole Foods, Aldi)
Data centers or mission-critical facilities
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling (MS Project or similar), and job site safety.
OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
