Temp-to-Perm Real Estate Analyst
The Real Estate Analyst will play a critical, hands-on role the financial and operational performance of the organization's existing real estate portfolio. You'll work closely with finance and real estate leadership to consolidate fragmented data, build performance dashboards, and produce clear, actionable analyses to drive portfolio decisions.

This client is a NFP in the Housing/Real Estate space.
Description
This is not a development or acquisitions role - the focus is entirely on asset management for current properties.
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Pull raw data from Excel files and third-party property managers to build clean, structured models that reflect real estate performance
- Performance Dashboards: Create visual tools and trackers to monitor key indicators like vacancy rates, rent collections, and expense ratios
- Scenario Planning & Forecasting: Model asset-level projections and revenue scenarios across the portfolio, especially for retail components
- Data Cleanup for REO Assets: Organize and standardize existing but inconsistent data sets for real estate owned (REO) properties
- Manual System Navigation: Consolidate data from disparate, manual systems to produce reliable, usable reporting
Profile
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience working with real estate financial data, preferably at the asset level
- Strong Excel modeling skills, with comfort building models and dashboards from scratch
- Experience navigating and structuring unorganized or inconsistent data
- Strong attention to detail, high autonomy, and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in real estate asset management, investment analysis, or property performance evaluation
- Familiarity with retail, mixed-use, or nonprofit portfolios
- Knowledge of tools like Power BI or Tableau (optional, but helpful)
- Experience working with property managers or integrating third-party financial reporting
