Payroll Manager - Hybrid NYC - Bilingual
The Payroll Manager will own full-cycle payroll for multi-state employees at a growing company. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and employee benefits management.

Our client is a growing hospitality and lifestyle brand with locations across the U.S. and Canada, They are seeking a Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Manager to ensure accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance across a multi-state workforce.
The main focus of the role is processing full-cycle payroll for hourly, salaried, and tipped employees. The ideal candidate brings expertise in multi-state payroll, along with strong attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset. This person will also be responsible for benefits administration and answering employee questions.
Candidates should be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to commute to downtown Manhattan on a hybrid basis. Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or related industries is preferred. Experience processing payroll for tipped employees is a plus.

Description
- Manage and process payroll operations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other applicable programs.
- Handle payroll tax reporting and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits processes.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits regulations to ensure compliance.

Profile
A successful Payroll & Benefits Manager should have:
- Proven expertise in payroll processing and benefits administration, particularly within the hospitality or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll and HR software systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to address employee concerns and collaborate across departments.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ability to commute to downtown Manhattan.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000 USD annually.
