Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project planning.
• Analyze project documents, such as blueprints and specifications, to determine scope and requirements.
• Assist in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to the management team.
• Support the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations in all estimating activities.

Profile

A successful Junior Estimator should have:

• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of construction processes and cost estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Salary range: $70 - $100K annually.
