Employee Relations Specialist
This client is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This individual will manage employee relations matters, conducting investigations, and advising on policy and performance concerns. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Description
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues across the organization
Conduct thorough and timely investigations into employee complaints, concerns, and conflicts
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, and company policies
Document findings, recommendations, and outcomes in a consistent and compliant manner
Partner with HR leadership and legal counsel to ensure alignment with internal policies and applicable laws
Track employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve workplace culture and reduce risk
Support employee engagement and organizational development initiatives as needed
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in employee relations or HR with a focus on conflict resolution and performance management
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity in sensitive situations
Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required

Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week onsite in our Jersey City office, 2 days remote
