My client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team based out of Leesburg, VA. Specializing in design-build, new construction, and interior renovations, my client serves diverse sectors, including commercial, retail, hospitality, restaurants, multifamily, and medical.

Description

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support their growing team. This individual will work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure successful project execution from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within a tight-knit company that values collaboration and fairness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects.
  • Support project managers in tracking budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
  • Monitor construction progress and assist in quality control to ensure work meets company standards.
  • Assist with project close-out procedures, including punch lists and final documentation.

Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset.
