The Superintendent role in the property industry is a vital part of the construction department, responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. As the Wilmington portfolio expands, this firm is seeking a strong Superintendent with experience running complex projects ideally in the healthcare space for the longevity of their career. First project is a ground-up 3-story hospital.

Description

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to maintain project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, addressing any deviations promptly.
• Oversee quality control processes to guarantee the highest standard of work.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure all required permits are obtained and adhered to.
• Provide leadership and direction to construction teams on-site.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reports.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Strong understanding of construction practices and project management principles.
• Experience successfully executing ground-up, healthcare projects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
