Superintendent - Commercial Construction

We are seeking a Superintendent with a passion for commercial construction and a demonstrated track record in project management. This individual will be responsible for supervising all on-site construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day challenges on the job site, and ensuring all aspects of safety.

Description

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Ensure project documents are complete
• Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations

Profile

• Strong knowledge of construction practices and principles
• Adept at interpreting blueprints and project documentation
• Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus but not a requirement
