Accounts Payable Specialist
Our client - a well known and rapidly growing manufacturing business - are looking for an AP Specialist to join the team. This is a newly created role due to the company growing.

Description
The role will involve:
- Processing accounts payable
- Generating weekly payables register and processing/printing payables check
- Working with vendors and internal purchaser to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Reconciling AP general ledger accounts and generating AP reports
- Calculating, reporting and paying state sales tax
- Filing paid invoices
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Treating others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect at all times
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Associates degree or equivalent, four year college preferred
- Two years related experience; four years desirable or combination of experience and education
- Computer Skills with knowledge of accounting software (Microsoft D365 preferred)
- Knowledge of Concur Expense reporting
- Strong Excel skills
