Business Development Manager - Industrial Filtration (Midwest)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives for our industrial filtration solutions in the Mountain West region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial processes, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with clients in industries such as automotive, energy, and water treatment. This role is remote in Midwest US.

Our client is a pioneer in the clean air technology industry, with 4 international brands that were created to improve efficiency and environmental protection with advanced industrial filtration. They have significant growth potential in the US and are seeking two experienced Business Development Managers to join the 25-person team in the US.
The client is a remote-based company. Description
- Identify and engage new customers and industries requiring filtration solutions. Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and potential growth opportunities in the Mountain West region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a deep understanding of their filtration needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in industrial filtration, educating clients on the technical and operational advantages of the company's products and services.
- Partner with internal engineering, marketing, and operations teams to align sales strategies with company goals and deliver seamless client experiences.
- Strategically manage the Mountain West territory, including regular client visits and participation in regional trade shows and industry events.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and activity reports. Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within industrial filtration or a related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of filtration technologies and their applications across industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and water treatment.
- Technical background in filtration or fluid dynamics.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
- Experience with sustainability-focused solutions in filtration systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the MidWest region.
Job Offer
- $120,000 - $150,000 base salary
