Description
Controller Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Evaluate and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management.
Profile
A successful Controller should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally with some experience in construction industry
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in managing a team or supervising financial functions.
