Our client is a family-owned General Contractor based in MD that has been in business for over 20 years. They started as a residential contractor before evolving into one of the area's most well-known federal government contractors. They are known for completing projects ranging between $500K and $20M for entities such as the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, MD Air National Guard, and more. They are actively looking to grow their team by bringing on an Assistant Project Manager.
Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Federal Government Projects will be responsible for:
- coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
- maintaining accurate project documentation
- monitoring project progress
- attending project meetings
- completing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- reporting into a Project Manager
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager - Federal Government Projects will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in construction
- a degree in a construction-related field (preferred)
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- strong time management and organizational skills
