Project Coordinator

Construction project coordinators plan, organize, and direct the activities of a construction project, under the direction of a general manager. You work on-site most of the time, looking after the day-to-day responsibilities of the project.

Description

• Assist project management team
• Maintain project files
• Create Client Agreements
• Handle draw process
• Work closely with Procore
• Request necessary certificates of insurance
• Provide support through all phases of project
• Work in tandem with Controller to ensure accurate cost code usage
• Assist with the organization of weekly project reports
• Maintain Subcontractor insurance
• Issue Subcontractor contracts at Project Manager's direction
• Prepare and submit permit/municipal submittals

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in ideally construction or a similar field
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Organizational skills
• Communication skills
• Experience handling the draw process
• Experience handling accounting needs
