Junior Accountant
Our client, a reputable electrical manufacturing company based in Portsmouth, NH, is looking for a Junior Accountant. This is a FTE role, and the successful candidate will have a completed Bachelors' Degree and 0-2 years of accounting experience.

Reputable electrical manufacturer based in Portsmouth, NH. This role is 5 days per week in office, and offers an individual with a completed Bachelors' & 0-2 years of experience a chance to join the accounting department of a stable and intriguing company.
Description
This role will involve you to:
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience (internship experience acceptable).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
