Senior Process Engineer - Leominster, MA
The Senior Process Engineer focuses on developing and refining extrusion processes to support operational excellence and future growth. You'll work closely with global teams to standardize methods, implement advanced equipment solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role combines technical expertise with leadership in process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize extrusion processes for cleanroom manufacturing.
- Collaborate with global teams to standardize equipment and processes.
- Procure specialized machinery and modified off-the-shelf equipment for new product cells.
- Prepare and execute capital requests for facility and equipment upgrades.
- Lead safety and lean manufacturing initiatives, including ergonomic assessments and standard work development.
- Implement robust process controls to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Manage ERP system data for production routing.
- Provide troubleshooting and diagnostics for assembly equipment and processes.
- Oversee training of assembly team members on machines and processes.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Plastics/Extrusion preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on extrusion.
- Experience with cleanroom manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of workflow optimization and lean transformation tools.
